Research Briefs Competition

“Research Briefs” is an open competition that final year student in the Faculty of Agriculture can apply and participate during FAuRS. Research brief is a one-page article that carries the findings of the final year research project, written to the non-scientific community. Thus, the message should be conveyed in simple language with no scientific jargon. Students may write the article in Sinhala, English, or Tamil.

Objectives:
The objectives of this competition are improving the written communication skills of the undergraduates and train them to cascade scientific findings to the general public.
