Invention and Innovation Competition

Invention & Innovation is a competition introduced to FAuRS to provide an opportunity for final year students to present their research output/s, promising inventions and innovations. A panel of judges appointed by the Sri Lanka Inventors Commission evaluates applications. It is a unique feature and an opportunity of this competition. Applicants will also have the opportunity to compete under National level competition “Sahasak Nipayum” organized by the Sri Lanka Inventors commission. Further, applicants will be benefited by the pre-symposium workshop on awareness on inventions and patents conducted by resource persons of Sri Lanka Inventors Commission. Invention & Innovation competition plays a vital role in the process of promoting innovative culture within the undergraduate community of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of
Peradeniya.
