Counseling and Career Guidance Unit

The Counseling and Career Guidance Unit of Faculty of Agriculture (CCGU-FA) was established in 2020 with two major objectives. Firstly, CCGU-FA will provide professional counseling services to needy students, which is important to overcome the stress and tension experienced by any student during their undergraduate career. Secondly it will guide the students to be effective in their chosen careers. Therefore, the efforts of CCGU-FA will contribute to enhance the resilience, career focus and employability of the students of the faculty.

Scheduling appointments with counselors

 • Senior Student Counselors Students can directly contact a Senior Student Counsellor or Schedule an appointment through the Counselling and Career Guidance Unit (CCGU) of the Faculty.  • Professional Counselors Contact the Coordinator of CCGU to schedule an appointment with a professional Psychological Counselor hired by the Faculty or if you need the support of Counseling and Psychological Support Unit (CAPSU) of the University of Peradeniya.
