Indeewari 2026: A Musical Initiative Supporting Student Welfare, Community Outreach, and Faculty Restoration

The Agriculture Faculty Students’ Union of the Faculty of Agriculture will organize Indeewari 2026, a musical event to be held on 11 March 2026 at the University Gymnasium, University of Peradeniya.

The event aims to raise funds for the “Needy” Scholarship Fund to support undergraduates facing financial difficulties, conduct the educational outreach programme “Rali Bimen Sama Bimata” for school students in rural areas, and contribute to the restoration of faculty facilities affected by the recent Ditwah cyclone.

Indeewari 2026 will feature performances by Bathiya & Santhush, Ashanthi de Alwis, Athma Liyanage, and Raveen Kanishka, with music provided by the band Daddy.

This event reflects the commitment of the Agriculture Faculty Students’ Union to student welfare, community engagement, and institutional resilience.
