Pro-Food Pro-Pack Agbiz Exhibition Awards from 2014-2018
Profood Propack & Agbiz exhibition is the largest and the most comprehensive food, beverage and packaging exhibition in Sri Lanka in which almost all companies in Food and Packaging industries showcase their products. Students have been participating in this exhibition in each consecutive year since 2006. The following awards have been received from the Pro-Food Pro-Pack & Agbiz exhibition:
- Certificate awarded to University of Peradeniya (Smart garbage disposing system) as the winner of the best green innovation at Pro Food Pro- pack - 2018
- Certificate awarded to University of Peradeniya (Packaging material from waste tea) as the “2ND Runner up) of the best green innovation at Pro Food Pro- pack - 2018
- Certificate awarded to University of Peradeniya (Instant spring hoppers using Davul Kuru
ndu leaf extract) as the “1st Runner up of the commercially viable product at Pro Food Pro- pack - 2018
