Department of Food Science & Technology participated in the exhibition Pro-Food Pro-Pack & Agbiz 2022

Members of SFST of the Department of Food Science & Technology participated in the exhibition took part in Pro-Food Pro-pack Agbiz exhibition which was held at BMICH on November 18, 19 and 20. The event is the largest and the most comprehensive food, beverage and packaging exhibition in Sri Lanka in which almost all companies in Food and Packaging industries showcase their products. Students have been participating in this exhibition in each consecutive year since 2006. Under the supervision of academic staff members, students developed different food related products based on their innovative ideas. 30+ food products were displayed at the exhibition and were admired by local and international visitors. A publication of “Food Product Related Small-scale Business Ideas for Entrepreneurs” holding the ISBN 978-624-5709-31-1 was also launched during the

exhibition.
