The Society of Food Science & Technology (SFST) has been awarded the Aquatic Resource Development Project Scholarship for the Best Society of the University of Peradeniya for the year 2021 and the Aquatic Resource Development Project Scholarship for the Best Society of the Faculty of Agriculture for the year 2021. This was awarded based on the university, provincial and national level activities carried out by the society, research communications and Newsletters published by the society and all other cultural, religious or educational social events organized by the society during the academic year 2021/22.
