Conducted a thesis-based research project titled “Antiglycation properties of aqueous extracts from selected species of plants: An In vitro study” under the supervision of Prof. B.E.P. Mandis and Prof. H.K.I. Perera. While working in the research project I have,

• • Successfully extracted five plant species and conducted an anti-glycation assay based on inhibiting glycation induced cross-linking of proteins for the plant extracts.
• • Prepared presentations and abstracts to communicate the research findings.
