The Agricultural Biotechnology centre (AgBC) has been offering services and renting its equipment for a nominal charge for internal (University of Peradeniya) and external coustomers. The chargers are according the approved service chargers by 411th Finance Committe Meeting held at University of Peradeniya.
GMO testing Services
The Agricultural Biotechnology Centre (AgBC), owns the new GMO referral lab in Sri Lanka and we offer services in testing GMOs/LOMs. The qualitative test for the presence of GMO, target elements: Promoter (35S) snf terminator (NOS) will be tested.
