WORKSHOPS
- Conducted a one-day workshop, Examination Process: Paper Setting and Moderation, on invitation of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka for the academic staff members of the Faculty of Management Studies of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka (5th July 2019).
- Conducted a workshop, Writing Journal Articles: The First Attempt, in collaboration with the National Agriculture Society of Sri Lanka, for 40 newly recruited academic staff (20th June 2019).
- Conducted a two-day workshop, Developing Outcome-Based Education and Learner-Centered Teaching Practices, on invitation of Faculty of Management of Uva Wellas
sa University for the academic staff members of the faculty (25th-26th July 2019).
OTHER EVENTS
- Conducted a seminar, Publish Your Research Work in High Impact Journals, in collaboration with the International Affairs Office, University of Peradeniya, for academic staff and Department of Agriculture members (25th February 2019).
- Co-organized a discussion forum on Cinnamon Research with the Department of Export Agriculture, National Cinnamon Research and Training Centre, six universities, and industry partners (26th February 2019).
- Held an educational program on Agriculture for A/L students of the Gampola Education Zone, with the Soil Science Society of the Faculty of Agriculture (26th March 2019).
- Conducted a two-day short course, Statistics for Research: Data Analyses and Beyond, for 15 newly recruited Department of Export Agriculture research officers, with the Department of Crop Science (9th-10th July 2019).
- Facilitated a Study Abroad Internship Program for a Sultan Qaboos University, Oman student, in collaboration with the Department of Animal Science (24th June - 22nd July 2019).
- Co-hosted the photographic exhibition Shades of Nature, with the Biology Guild of the Faculty of Agriculture (20th August 2019).
