Workshop on Introduction to CGE Modelling for Policy Analysis – The GTAP Model
It was successfully held on 9th April 2021 for the members of Sri Lanka Forum of University Economists (SLFUE).
The main focus of the workshop was on the usage of the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) model.
Discussions on ‘the usage of Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) models in quantitative policy analysis’ and ‘ways and means of incorporating CGE models into undergraduate and postgraduate curriculums’ had been held during the workshop.

The aim of the event was to enhance entrepreneurial skills of the undergraduates of the Faculty of Agriculture.
