Dr. E.R.J. Samarakoon successfully finished her PhD at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada in May 2019. Soon after finishing her higher studies she joined the Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya. Her specialized area is carbohydrate chemistry.
