The Department of Food Science and Technology organized a two day training programme on ‘Value Added Rice Based Products’

The Department of Food Science and Technology organized a two day training programme on ‘Value Added Rice Based Products’ for a group of small and medium scale snack manufacturers from Ampara, Trincomalee area. The programme was conducted by the staff of the Department of Food Science and Technology on April 29th and 30th at the Faculty. This is the second such programme conducted by the Department which was funded by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board.
