17th International Students Summit (ISS) on Food, Agriculture, and Environment in the New Century

The two extension major students Ms.Chamodha Atukorala and Ms.Hasara Kaludewa, took part in the 17th International Students Summit (ISS) on Food, Agriculture, and Environment in the New Century which was held on 25-26 September 2017 at the National Chun Hsing University(NCHU) in Taiwan, with the participation of over 30 universities world wide. The theme of the summit being "Students Taking Action to Address Inequality Through Greater Access to Resources and Knowledge in Order to Promote Sustainable Agriculture", these two students presented a paper and a presentation on "Improving the Productive Potential of Farmers Through Awareness in Order to Promote Sustainable Agriculture in Sri Lanka" The standout performance, and the networking of the students were much appreciated within the summit and afterwards.
