Organized round the concept of a tree-garden, this is maintained around the residential areas of the Sub Campus. The collection of dry zone tree species was established in 2017. Current collection comprises of 40+ different tree species of native, endemic and introduced species found in the dry zone of Sri Lanka. It is expected will provide opportunity for students to identify and familiar with trees while appreciating their roles. This collection in the long-run will function as a field gene bank and also contribute to make a more comfortable living environment for university community.
